Santa María / Santiaguito volcano (Guatemala) activity update

Activity remains similar to before. Moderate explosions from time to time produce ash plumes rising about 700 m altitude.
Light ash fall was reported yesterday in Calahuaché. Effusive activity has been low at the lava flows on the dome's flanks.
