Semeru volcano (East Java, Indonesia): incandescent material reaching a maximum distance

PVMBG recorded today an explosion that generated an ash plume, which reached approx. 14,000 ft (4,260 m)
altitude. Incandescent material is being ejected to an approx. height of 10-50 meters
above the Seloko Jongring crater and descended 700 m, reaching a maximum distance of 950 m from the crater.
The seismic station records 14 volcano-tectonic earthquakes.
The Alert Level remained at 2.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 1 km distance from the main crater and 4 km on the SSE flank.

a pyroclastic flow was generated from collapsing material at the end of a 750-m-long lava flow on the S flank. The pyroclastic flow lasted nine minutes based on seismic data which traveled 2.3 km down the south flank. This was reported at 17:33 local time. ...

an explosions at the volcano generated a grey ash plumes, which rose approx. 656 ft-1,640 ft (200 m-500 m)
