Seismicity at the volcano continued to be elevated over background levels during 26 August-1 September, indicating that low-level eruptive activity confined to the summit crater continued.
Cloud cover often prevented satellite and webcam observations; elevated surface temperatures were periodically detected in satellite images.
The Aviation Color Code remained at Orange and the Volcano Alert Level remained at Watch. (Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report 26 August-1 September 2015)
