After almost one month of the intense explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano, it seems that the activity decreased significantly over the past few days as reported by Alexey Demyanchuk from the local observatory.
Incandescent avalanches that have accompanied the elevated activity at the volcano, are no longer active and only rare glowing rock falls are being rolled down to the slopes from the crater rim.
