Eruption from Shiveluc this morning
Activity at the volcano remains elevated. A series of moderate explosions occurred over the past days, producing ash plumes that rose to 23-27,000 ft (7-9 km) altitude (Tokyo VAAC).

A moderate explosion occurred again at the volcano last evening. Based on the seismic signal, KVERT estimated an ash plume to 21,000 ft (6.3 km) altitude was generated.

An explosion occurred a few hours ago. Webcam images show bright blow from incandescent material ejected. VAAC Tokyo estimates an ash plume was produced that rose to 25,000 ft (7.5 km) altitude.
