Sinabung volcano (Sumatra, Indonesia): continuing ash emissions

The activity of the volcano continues at high levels.

Near-continuous vulcanian explosions produce large content of constant ash emissions. An ash plumes reached approx. 13,000 ft (4,000 m) altitude and drifted east.
Seismicity remained elevated with periods of high amplitude tremor.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 3 km distance from the main crater and 5 km on the SE flank and 4 km on the NE flank.
