Suwanosejima volcano (Ryukyu Islands, Japan) - Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report for 8 June-14 June 2022 (Continuing Activity)
JMA reported that the eruption at Suwanosejima's Ontake Crater continued during 6-13 June. Crater incandescence was visible at night. One explosion was recorded during 6-10 June, producing a plume that rose 2 km above the crater rim and ejecting material 300 m away from the vent.

During 10-13 June eruption plumes rose as high as 1.5 km above the crater rim and material was ejected as far as 300 m from the vent. The Alert Level remained at 3 and the public was warned to stay 2 km away from the crater.
