PVMBG reported that during 5-11 August phreatic events at Tangkubanparahu's Ratu Crater continued to produced sometimes dense, gray-to-white plumes that rose as high as 200 m above the vent and ash plumes rose as high as 100 m. Tangkubanparahu volcano (West Java, Indonesia) activity update: Alert level raised, phreatic explosions
Following increasing seismicity, gas emissions and deformation, and an isolated phreatic eruption last week, activity has again increased after a slight drop-off, with a number of further explosions over the last day.
