From noon on Saturday, September 1, 2012, there was an increase in the number of earthquakes associated with the movement of fluids inside the volcano. These earthquakes are long period events of small energy mainly registered by the station located in the northwestern flank of the volcano. The highest value corresponds to 532 long period events recorded between 2 and 3 September. Larger explosions were not generated. ... read all
