The volcano continues to be very active with frequent explosions that eject incandescent lava to several hundred meters height and ash plumes rising up to 3-4 km above the summit.
Strong shock waves and cannon-shot explosion sounds accompany the eruptions. Ash fall occurred in Pondoa, Runtún, Triunfo, and Río Verde.
