Ash emission from Turrialba yesterday morning (RSN)
Following a 4 days pause in activity, new ash emissions have been occurring from the volcano again since yesterday.
Activity seems to have restarted gradually on Wednesday and became more intense yesterday morning, when a plume rising up to approx. 2000 m could be observed during clear weather. Small ash falls were noted in downwind areas.

According to RSN, the level of seismic activity, dominated by volcanic tremor, gradually increased during Saturday and remained fluctuating yesterday, with an overall stable trend. read all
