Ubinas volcano (Peru) activity update: New minor eruption

Scenic view of the minor eruption plume this morning, via IGP webcam.
The alert level has been raised to yellow. Seismicity has risen above background levels with signals indicating rising fluids and authorities expect more activity in the coming days; the volcano may be in the process of entering a new, "full" magmatic eruptive phase (similar to its fellow Peruvian volcano Sabancaya's current eruption), the third since reactivation in 2006.
