Erta Ale volcano (Ethiopia): overflowing lava lake 16-19 Jan 2017: videos

After calming down a bit in the morning, new lava overflows occur from the lake starting at around noon. This time, the activity continues to increase even more until the whole lake is boiling over on all sides, flooding all the flanks of the new shield and a portion of the caldera floor with fresh lava flows:
