Popocatepetl volcano, Mexico: activity update

Popocatepetl continues to emit small-to-moderate emissions of steam, gas, and small amounts of ash. On 4 February 2006, an explosion produced a plume that rose to ~6.7 km (22,000 ft) a.s.l.
