Background
The westernmost volcano of the Quaternary Bismarck volcanic arc, Vokeo is a dissected, forest-covered volcano with a central basin. It is the only Bismarck arc volcano surrounded by a raised coral reef. Two thermal areas are present on the north coast (Johnson et al. 1972).---
