Shiveluch (Kamchatka): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 33000 ft (10100 m) altitude or flight level 330 and is moving at 10 kts in SE direction.

Ibu (Halmahera, Indonesia): (9 Apr) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 .

Semeru (East Java, Indonesia): (9 Apr) PVMBG recorded today an explosion that generated an ash plume, which reached approx. 14,000 ft (4,260 m) altitude. Incandescent material is being ejected to an approx. height of 10-50 meters above the Seloko Jongring crater and descended 700 m, reaching a maximum distance of 950 m from the crater.
The seismic station records 14 volcano-tectonic earthquakes.

Kerinci (Sumatra): (9 Apr) PVMBG recorded on 6 April a brown ash plume that reached approx. 14,000 ft (4,260 m) altitude and drifted N and NW.
The main crater smoke is observed in white with high moderate intensity around 50-100 meters from the summit.

Rincón de la Vieja (Costa Rica): (9 Apr) OVSICORI-UNA reported that seismicity remains at generally low levels including periods of low-frequency and low-amplitude volcanic earthquakes.
A gas steam plume occured on 1 April at 02:40 local time. On 4 April at 08:24 local time an eruption generated a plume, which reached approx. 9,566 ft (2,916 m) altitude.
