Shiveluch (Kamchatka): (11 Apr) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Anchorage warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 36000 ft (11000 m) altitude or flight level 360 and is moving at 15 kts in E direction.

Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: EXPLODED AT 20200411/1533Z FL090 EXTD NE OBS VA DTG:11/1530Z

Krakatau (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): After last night's paroxysm, activity continues at lower levels. The webcam on the island shows incandescence at the crater and VAAC Darwin reported low-level ash clouds during the day.
Most likely, mild strombolian activity is occurring at the crater, but there are currently no good direct observations to confirm the type of activity.

Last night's violent paroxysm at Anak Krakatau ended abruptly around 08:00 morning local time. Fortunately, the webcam on the island survived the eruption although it seems it was hit by a projectile at 02:33 local time, when it suddenly tilted.

A large magmatic eruption is taking place at the volcano right now. Based on satellite imagery, VAAC Darwin spotted a high-level ash and SO2 plume reaching 47,000 ft (15 km) altitude moving WNW.
A strong thermal hot spot is detected as well. Both the webcam on Anak Krakatau Island and from the coast (in 40 km distance) show strong lava fountaining from the volcano.
