Kirishima (Kyushu): The Japanese Meteorological Agency (JMA) recorded during 6-10 April 177 volcano-tectonic earthquakes below the Shinmoedake crater. The number of volcanic earthquakes repeatedly increased and decreased. No volcanic tremor has been detected.
This could mean that a shallow magma intrusion is under way, which in turn could result in another eruption of the volcano, which is one of Japan's most frequently active.

Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported during 6-11 Apr 2020 7 explosions that occured at the Minamidake summit crater.
Blocks were ejected as far as 984 ft-1,640 ft (300 m-500 m) away from Minamidake summit crater. Ash plumes reached 9,000 ft (2,743 m) altitude.

Krakatau (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 10000 ft (3000 m) altitude or flight level 100 and is moving at 5 kts in NW direction.

The volcano observatory recorded 160 emissions of water vapor, gases and light ash content generated by two explosions at 19:16 and 22:15 local time. The plumes were drifted towards the northeast direction.
The seismic station records 58 minutes of tremor.
