Dukono (Halmahera): (21 May) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 6000 ft (1800 m) altitude or flight level 060 .

Yasur (Tanna Island, Vanuatu): (21 May) On 19 May Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Wellington reported that minor ash emissions occurred. Ash plumes reached 7,000 ft (2,100 m) altitude and drifted SE.
