Etna (Sicily, Italy): (11 Aug) Beautiful strombolian activity continues at the saddle vent of the New SE crater. Throughout the night, explosions have been near-continuous, often throwing incandescent lava bombs on the outside flanks of the crater cone.
There is a slightly increasing tendency of activity overall.
An ash and steam plume is rising approx. 3-500 m above the vent. Also, intense degassing continues to take place from the Voragine and Bocca Nuova summit craters.

Nishino-shima (Volcano Islands, Japan): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 13000 ft (4000 m) altitude or flight level 130 and is moving at 15 kts in NW direction.
The full report is as follows: VA EMISSIONS CONTINUING OBS VA DTG:11/1120Z to 13000 ft (4000 m)

Dukono (Halmahera): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 and is moving at 10 kts in NW direction.
The full report is as follows: CONTINUOUS VA EMISSION TO FL070 OBS VA DTG:11/1450Z to 7000 ft (2100 m)

Ruapehu (North Island): (11 Aug) GeoNet observatory reported that since April 2020, lake temperature has decreased from a high of 42°C to around 22-23 °C. This lower lake temperature is normal for Crater Lake. To keep the lake at this temperature, low-level heat must continue to flow into the lake. This indicates that the underlying vent area is open to volcanic gases and hydrothermal fluids. Other signs that point to this open vent are visible upwellings and sulphur slicks on the lake surface.
GeoNet volcanologists did a gas flight observations during the past three months and collected two lake samples for laboratory analysis. The results from these observations show an increase in H2S (hydrogen sulfide) gas and declines in CO2 (carbon dioxide) and SO2 gas (sulphur dioxide). This is consistent with more hydrothermal than magmatic chemical reactions in the lake.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 19000 ft (5800 m) altitude or flight level 190 .
The full report is as follows: NEW VA EMS. to 19000 ft (5800 m)

Pacaya (Guatemala): (11 Aug) A relatively significant change in the activity of the volcano has occurred. As the effusive-explosive eruption has been dramatically increasing during the past 2 months, a weak strombolian activity continues from the Mackenney summit crater last days.
INSIVUMEH reported that no lava flows are being observed, but their absence has not been decreasing the seismic activity. Formation of lava flows in the near future is a possibility if activity at the volcano increases.

Sangay (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 19000 ft (5800 m) altitude or flight level 190 .
The full report is as follows: CONS VA CLDS SEEN IN SAT. to 19000 ft (5800 m)

Reventador (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 15000 ft (4600 m) altitude or flight level 150 .
The full report is as follows: ONGOING VA EMS. to 15000 ft (4600 m)
...11 Aug:
The effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues at high levels.
IGEPN reported that new lava flow has started to descend on the northeastern slopes, currently about 200 m long.

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 20000 ft (6100 m) altitude or flight level 200 and is moving at 13 kts in SE direction.
The full report is as follows: continuous ash emissions to 20000 ft (6100 m)
