Semeru (East Java, Indonesia): (17 Sep) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 14000 ft (4300 m) altitude or flight level 140 .

Dukono (Halmahera): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: CONTINUOUS VA TO FL070 EXTD SW EST VA DTG:18/1630Z

Mauna Loa (Big Island, Hawai'i): (18 Sep) During the past week the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (HVO) recorded 67 small-magnitude earthquakes on the volcano's summit and upper-elevation flanks. Most of these earthquakes occurred at shallow depths of less than 8 km (~5 miles) below ground level.
Slow summit inflation continues to be detected by the GPS, consistent with magma supply to the volcano's shallow storage system.
