Etna (Sicily, Italy): The strombolian activity of the volcano continues at elevated levels characterized by minor ash emissions.
A dense dark ash plume at New SE crater occurred at 08:00-09:30 local time today, which reached approx. 28,000 ft (8,534 m) altitude and drifted E.

Grímsvötn (Iceland): The Aviation Color Code for the volcano was raised to "yellow", as an increase of seismic activity has been recorded.
The Icelandic Met Office (IMO) reported that the seismic activity at the volcano has been increasing during the past month associated with increased geothermal activity.

Shiveluch (Kamchatka): Yury Demianchuk from the volcanological observatory reported that visual observations on 28 September confirmed that a new lava dome had grown on the NE side of the dome complex. The extruded lava dome, about 100 m tall, stands out with a spectacularly and highly unusual, smooth, egg-like shape.
This extremely smooth, curved outer surface indicates that the magma had been oozing out at a very steady flow rate, without exceeding the limits of plastic deformation of the erupted viscous lava, i.e. not causing any ruptures as is usually the case with lava domes, giving them often a rugged outer shape (as the older parts of Sheveluch's dome into which the new egg-like structure has now grown).

Dukono (Halmahera): (1 Oct) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 .
The full report is as follows: CONTINUOUS VA EMISSION TO FL070 MOV NE AT 01/0010Z to 7000 ft (2100 m)

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 21000 ft (6400 m) altitude or flight level 210 and is moving at 5-10 kts in SW direction.
The full report is as follows: CONS VA EMS. to 21000 ft (6400 m)

Fuego (Guatemala): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 15000 ft (4600 m) altitude or flight level 150 .
The full report is as follows: VA EM OBSD to 15000 ft (4600 m)

Sangay (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 22000 ft (6700 m) altitude or flight level 220 .
The full report is as follows: UPDATE ON VA DIR to 22000 ft (6700 m)

Reventador (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 14000 ft (4300 m) altitude or flight level 140 .
The full report is as follows: RPRTS OF VA EM to 14000 ft (4300 m)

Sabancaya (Peru): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Buenos Aires (VAAC) issued the following report: continuous ash emissions

Piton de la Fournaise (La Réunion): The volcano observatory OVPF reported that the seismic activity at the volcano has decreased over the past day as the number of volcano-tectonic earthquakes have rapidly decreased. The seismicity remains active beneath the eastern flank.
