Dukono (Halmahera): (12 Jan) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 .

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): (12 Jan) Over the past weeks, the activity of the volcano has remained essentially unchanged at moderate levels.
It is characterized by occasional vulcanian-type explosions (0-3 per day) and 27 passive emissions of steam, gases and small amounts of ash recorded yesterday. The plumes were dispersed towards the east-northeast direction.

Fuego (Guatemala): The explosive eruption of the volcano has remained essentially unchanged at moderate to high levels. No significant change in activity has occurred since the last update.
Ongoing moderate-to-strong strombolian-to-vulcanian activity continues from the summit crater at regular intervals of 9 to 12 per hour showering the summit cone with glowing lava bombs. Incandescent material is being ejected to an approximate height of several hundred meters above the crater and caused moderate to strong avalanches of material as can be seen in the attached video.

No significant change in activity has occurred during the past weeks. The effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues.
The explosive activity continues from the active crater with near-constant ash emissions that reached 14,300 ft-14,900 ft (4,360 m-4,560 m) altitude and drifted into W direction.
