Raung (East Java): (1 Feb) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 13000 ft (4000 m) altitude or flight level 130 .

Kilauea (Hawai'i): The effusive eruption of the volcano continues and has remained essentially unchanged at moderate levels.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): A significant change in activity has occurred since the last update (21 January 21) as we reported ongoing elevated tremor that started at the end of December 2020.
On 22 January a volcanic tremor started to rapidly decrease and continues with periods of low amplitude values reaching 300-750 min / day around which it has been fluctuating during the past 9 days. Seismic network detected a sharp decrease from 770 minutes on 28 January to 42 minutes of volcanic tremor on 29 January.
