The lava flow on the south-southwest flank is now no longer active at the time of this update as well as strombolian activity from the summit vent.

Dukono (Halmahera): (12 Feb) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 6000 ft (1800 m) altitude or flight level 060 and is moving at 05 kts in E direction.

Kilauea (Hawai'i): The effusive eruption of the volcano continues and has remained essentially unchanged.

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 25000 ft (7600 m) altitude or flight level 250 and is moving at 05 kts in W direction.

Soufrière St. Vincent (West Indies, St. Vincent): No significant change in the activity of the volcano has occurred since the last update and has remained essentially unchanged at effusive phase.
A satellite image from 5 February shows clear picture of the actively growing lava dome in the crater. The new dome continues to grow with lateral spreading of ~15 m towards the north-west and south-east, currently about 540 m long.
