Etna (Sicily, Italy): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Toulouse warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 33000 ft (10100 m) altitude or flight level 330 and is moving at 25 kts in S direction.

Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): (16 Feb) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: VA IS NOT IDENTIFIABLE IN SATELLITE IMAGERY.

Taal (Luzon, Philippines): The seismic network of volcanological observatory PHIVOLCS detected 98 tremor events at less than 1 km depth that lasted in range of 5 to 12 minutes.
The Crater Lake temperature reached 77.1°C and 1.59 pH value of acidification on 12 February.

Fumarolic activity accompanied by emissions of water vapor and gases continue from the vent that rose to 5 m above the crater.
Ground deformation parameters from continuous electronic tilt at the volcano recorded a slight deflation around the summit crater since October last year. Very slow and steady inflation of the Taal region has been recorded by continuous GPS data after the eruption.


Raung (East Java): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 14000 ft (4300 m) altitude or flight level 140 .

The intense effusive activity that had started a few days ago from the summit crater decreased significantly and seems to ended as INSIVUMEH seismic instrument detected decreasing period of the amplitude.
The lava flow in Seca western direction ceased and is now no longer active while the second lava flow in Ceniza direction on the SW flank remains active, currently about 300 m long but it is expected to reduce its length in the coming hours.

Moderate strombolian-to-vulcanian-type explosions continue to erupt at regular intervals of 12 to 14 per hour generating a plumes of ash that rose to estimated 15,000 ft (4,800 m) altitude. Volcanic ash is dispersed towards the N, E and NE about 50 km of the volcano.
