Nevados de Chillán (Central Chile): (17 Sep) A high-resolution satellite image from 15 September confirmed a new lava dome, the SERNAGEOMIN reported. The actively growing area is located at the Nicanor crater of the volcano.
The new lava dome is currently about 27 meters wide and 40 meters long in an NW-SE pattern.
