Shiveluch (Kamchatka): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 13000 ft (4000 m) altitude or flight level 130 and is moving at 10 kts in N direction.

Merapi (Central Java, Indonesia): The intense activity at the volcano continues by producing pyroclastic flows.
The susceptibility of the actively growing southwestern lava dome is high enough to trigger large block-and-ash flows caused by the dome's gravitational partial collapse.
