All manually checked earthquakes since the beginning of the sequence. Event times are colour coded, events larger than magnitude 3 are given as green stars. The migration of the activity from the caldera of Bárðarbunga (dark blue, Saturday) to the northern and eastern clusters (light blue, Sunday; orange Monday) can be seen. (IMO)

Bárdarbunga (Iceland): (20 Aug) The situation remains the same as yesterday. The earthquake swarm continues at high intensity. The quakes are clustered in an area 20 km east of the Bárdarbunga volcano's caldera under the ice cap and at shallow depths of 10-1 km.
During the first 7 hours of today, 200 events were registered, the largest being a magnitude 3 quake at 10 km depth.

...19 Aug:
Earthquakes, volcanic tremor and deformation continue, but there are no signs of an impending eruption so far, as long as the earthquakes, indicators of magma intrusion, don't migrate towards the surface. The country remains at alert of a possible eruption from Bardarbunga, which could and likely would produce a significant ash plume.
In the meanwhile, the Icelandic Met Office (IMO) published the following summary for the ongoing activity at the volcano (Monday evening):

Kilauea (Hawai'i): The June 27 flow remains active on Kilaueas East Rift Zone, and has advanced further into the forest over the past week. The flow front is 8.5km (5.3mi) NE of the vent on Puʻu ʻŌʻō. The flow's continued brisk advance rate is likely related, in part, to its continued confinement by local topography. In this USGS photo, the narrow flow front was within one of the many linear depressions (grabens) on the East Rift Zone. ... [more]
