Strombolian eruption at Stromboli on 10 April (INGV)Stromboli (Eolian Islands, Italy): (16 Apr) During the past week, activity at the volcano has picked up and resumed to its typical normal strombolian activity - good news for all who are going to visit the island during the starting tourist season.
INGV reported averages of 1-4 explosions per hour from several vents in the crater terrace.
