Stromboli (Eolian Islands, Italy): (18 May) The activity at Stromboli has recently increased a lot. During our ongoing tour to Stromboli and Etna, Marco Fulle reported that eruptions have been occurring at intervals of 5-10 minutes, most often from the two northeastern vents (towards the Stromboli village side), but also the central and western vents are active as the below time-lapse video shows.
Many explosions were of moderately large size and ejected lava bombs higher than the observers' position on Pizzo, i.e. more than 200 m above the vents.

Klyuchevskoy (Kamchatka): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: VA CONTINUOUSLY OBS ON SATELLITE IMAGERY OBS VA DTG:18/1120Z

Shiveluch (Kamchatka): The activity at the volcano has been elevated recently. Two relatively large eruptive events occurred on 11 and 16 May; both seem to have been caused by collapses of a larger section of the growing lava dome and/or associated explosions, and both generated larger pyroclastic flows and ash plumes.
The most recent event occurred on 19:07 local time on 16 May. It prooduced a large pyroclastic flow with two pulses from the the southwest and east slopes of the active dome. The flow reached approx. 6-7 km distance at average speed of 12 m/s. Its associated ash plume rose to estimated 10 km altitude, triggering Tokyo VAAC to temporarily raise the Aviation Color Code to RED.

Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): (18 May) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: ERUPTIVE ACTIVITY CONTINUING OBS VA DTG:18/0520Z

Manam (Papua New Guinea): The volcano is currently in an elevated phase of activity. Near-continuous ash emissions have been observed today, generating a plume visible on satellite imagery extending more than 50 km to the ESE.
In addition, a very strong heat signal was detected by the moderate-resolution imaging radio spectrometer (MODIS) sensor aboard some of NASA's satellites. This heat signal could be caused by the presence of active lava flows, a strongly active dome, or - most likely - hot pyroclastic deposits following a strong vulcanian-type explosive eruption, which is also suggested by the information in local press articles and the distribution of the heat signals scattered around on the flanks of the volcano.

Piton de la Fournaise (La Réunion): (18 May) A new eruption (the second in 2017) began at the volcano yesterday afternoon with little precursory signs. The site of the new eruption is a fissure on the NE flank of the Dolomieu central crater inside the Enclos.
At 13:40 local time, the observatory recorded the start of a seismic swarm and rapid ground deformation, indicative of magma moving towards the surface. The eruption began at 20:10 with the onset of eruption tremor. Bad weather prevented direct observation.
