The Volcano Observatory (Observatório Vulcanológico e Sismológico da Univ. dos Açores, CIVISA) recorded dozens of mostly small quakes at shallow depths between 1-15 km in an area about 6-7 km west of Furnas volcano, half way between the caldera lakes of Lagunas Fogo and do Congro. The largest were 6 earthquakes of magnitudes 3.0-3.6, some of which were felt by local inhabitants.

Mayon (Luzon Island, Philippines): The volcanic activity has continued with little changes, but shown a decreasing tendency. A recent gas measurement suggests a strong decrease in SO2 output from the volcano, which could suggest a beginning exhaustion of the magma supply.
On the other hand, GPS and tiltmeters continue to see inflation (swelling) of the volcanic edifice caused by internal magma pressure.

Agung (Bali): The eruption of the volcano has not ended: Just few days after the official alert status of the volcano had been decreased from 4 (highest) to 3 on the Indonesian scale of 1-4, a sudden, moderately violent explosion occurred this morning.
The short-lived explosion began at 11:49 local time and produced a dense ash-loaded plume that rose quickly to approx. 1500 m above the volcano. It seems likely to have been a vulcanian-style explosion, caused by sudden release of accumulated gas pressure trapped inside the sticky magma in the upper conduit, and shows that even though the overall activity has been slowing down and the eruption is likely approaching its end, the volcano remains dangerous.
