Krakatau (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): (5 Jul) The volcano continues to erupt and it seems that the eruption by now has reached a phase of being more or less continuous.
Observers report seeing frequent explosions that generate ash plumes that rise few hundreds of meters from the summit crater and glow from the summit area.
