Kilauea (Hawai'i): (3 Oct) Activity at Kilauea remains at very low levels, with no eruptions anywhere on the volcano, as has been the case since early September.

Seismicity and deformation are at background levels, and interestingly, the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory reports that total gas emissions across the volcano are at their lowest levels since before the start of the long-term Pu'u O'o eruption in 1983.

It remains uncertain whether the eruption has completely ended or just temporarily paused. The Aviation Color Code and Alert Level remain at ORANGE/WATCH.

Colima (Western Mexico):

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): (4 Oct) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Washington (VAAC) issued the following report: NEW VA EM APRX 03Z

Sangay (Ecuador): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Washington (VAAC) issued the following report: VA RPRTD AT 04/1711Z

Cuicocha (Ecuador): The geophysical institute of Ecuador reports that seismicity at Cuicocha caldera has increased. 60 earthquakes, up to a magnitude of 2.5 have been recorded in the last two days. All are of the volcano-tectonic (VT) type, meaning they are caused by rocks breaking. The significance of this activity remains to be seen, but as it stands there is no concern; the volcano last erupted about 1,370 years ago; much more intense activity would be expected before any eruption.

Reventador (Ecuador): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Washington (VAAC) issued the following report: VA EM RPRTD AT 04/1238Z

Sabancaya (Peru): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Buenos Aires (VAAC) issued the following report: SPORADIC PUFFS OF VA OBS VA DTG:04/1615Z
