Krakatau (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): The volcano continues to erupt. It is however difficult to say what the activity exactly looks like at the moment:
On one hand, reports of larger ash clouds have become less frequent, although ash sightings on satellite imagery have picked up during the past days again. On the other hand, the volcano observatory has recorded a peak number of explosion events, and a thermal anomaly in the summit crater is seen on recent satellite data.
