Karymsky (Kamchatka): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 13000 ft (4000 m) altitude or flight level 130 and is moving at 15 kts in NE direction.

Shiveluch (Kamchatka): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Anchorage warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 34000 ft (10400 m) altitude or flight level 340 and is moving at 45 kts in NW direction.

Suwanose-jima (Ryukyu Islands): Bright glow can be seen from the crater area during night time, indicating that it is currently erupting. Most likely, this activity consists of intermittent, mild strombolian explosions from the Ontake crater.
The rarely visited volcano is known for its semi-persistent strombolian activity that has been going on for many decades.
