Etna (Sicily, Italy): The recent sub-terminal eruption of Etna, which started early on 30 May, is probably ending or has ended already. During the past 24 hours, lava emission gradually decreased.
While the southeastern lava flow was still active this morning, lava effusion appears now to have ceased or at least decreased to a fraction of its initial output. The lava flow on the NE side already stopped yesterday.

Dukono (Halmahera): (2 Jun) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 8000 ft (2400 m) altitude or flight level 080 and is moving at 10 kts in NW direction.

Great Sitkin (United States, Aleutian Islands): (3 Jun) A small steam explosion occurred at the volcano yesterday morning (21:40 AKDT on 1 June local time), detected in local seismic data, the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) reported.
"No corresponding signal was seen in regional infrasound data or cloudy satellite observations. Low-level seismic activity was elevated just before and after the event. In response to this activity, AVO is raising the Aviation Color Code YELLOW and Alert Level to ADVISORY." (AVO)
