Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: EXPLODED AT 20191008/1631Z OVER FL070 STNR OBS VA DTG:08/1620Z

Dukono (Halmahera): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 and is moving at 10 kts in NE direction.

Santiaguito (Guatemala): (8 Oct) INSIVUMEH observed 1 to 3 explosions per hour with weak avalanches on the southern flank. Volcanic ash is dispersed in a southwest direction.
Ash plumes reached 3,400 metres (11,155 ft) altitude.

Pacaya (Guatemala): (8 Oct) Incandescence is observed in the Mackenney crater and lava flows north-northwest of the slopes of the volcano.
The seismic station records internal tremor associated with degassing and constant strombolian explosions. Material raised to an approximate height of 5 to 25 meters above the crater.

Fuego (Guatemala): (8 Oct) INSIVUMEH recorded range of ash emissions within 15 to 18 with weak and moderate characteristics and ash column at an approximate height of 4,600 to 4,800 m moving 20 to 25 km south and southwest.
In the evening and early morning was observed incandescence in the crater at an approximate height of 300 to 400 meters above the crater which caused weak, moderate and strong avalanches in the contour of the crater. Lava flows towards the Seca canyon with a length of 75 meters.

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 23000 ft (7000 m) altitude or flight level 230 and is moving at 15 kts in NW direction.

Copahue (Chile/Argentina): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Buenos Aires (VAAC) issued the following report: continuous ash emissions

Nevados de Chillán (Central Chile): Volcano continues in minor eruption related to the emissions of a lava flow and minor explosions. Internal dynamics causes explosive activity of hot gases and ballistic fragments around the crater.
