Etna (Sicily, Italy): Activity at the volcano has increased during the past 24 hours. Mild to moderate strombolian activity resumed at the New SE crater's summit vent and has been intensifying.
The activity at the New SE crater began yesterday at about 16:00 UTC (17:00 local time), ejecting plenty of incandescent lava bombs onto the outer flanks of the cone.

Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 and is moving at 15 kts in S direction.

Dukono (Halmahera): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: CONTINUOUS VA EMISSION TO FL060 LAST OBS 07/0840Z

Semisopochnoi (United States, Aleutian Islands): An eruption is probably occurring at the volcano. The Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) detected seismic signals of strong volcanic tremor, probably corresponding to the arrival of magma in the summit vent, but the nature of the eruption itself is unclear:
"The event started at 00:26 AKST / 09:26 UTC and has continued with and ongoing but weaker local seismic signal. Any volcanic ash emissions are most likely low-level.
The meteorological cloud deck has been around 10,000' (3000 m) asl over Semisopochnoi and no ash signals have been detected above this height. Nothing has been detected in lightning data." (AVO)

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Washington (VAAC) issued the following report: VA EMS OBS
