Ebeko (Paramushir Island): The volcano remains active, with intermittent ash emissions and sporadic moderately strong vulcanian-type explosions.
Every 4-7 days on average, such explosions are also being noted on satellite imagery and trigger VAAC Tokyo to issue ash warnings to aviation.
On 20 Jan, an explosion produced an ash plume that rose approx. 1.5 km to 10,000 ft (3 km) altitude (s. image attached) and drifted ENE, and observed by our correspondent Leonid Kotenko on location.

Semeru (East Java, Indonesia): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: DISCRETE VA EMISSIONS TO FL140, LAST OBS MOV S AT 26/0000Z

Dukono (Halmahera): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 and is moving at 5 kts in NW direction.

Sangay (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 20000 ft (6100 m) altitude or flight level 200 .

Reventador (Ecuador): (26 Jan) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 16000 ft (4900 m) altitude or flight level 160 .

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 23000 ft (7000 m) altitude or flight level 230 and is moving at 15 kts in SW direction.
