Stromboli (Eolian Islands, Italy): The activity of the volcano continues at moderate to high levels with little changes during the past weeks.
Frequent strombolian explosions occur from multiple vents in the crater area. On 3 Feb 2020 morning, a short-lived lava overflow from the vents in the northeastern crater area produced a small lava flow on the upper Sicara del Fuoco.
For now and the foreseeable future, the summit area of the volcano remains closed for visitors.

Aso (central Kyushu, Japan): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 6000 ft (1800 m) altitude or flight level 060 and is moving at 20 kts in SE direction.
The full report is as follows: ACTIVITY CONT. VA AT 20200207/1800Z FL060 EXTD SE OBS VA DTG:07/1810Z to 6000 ft (1800 m)

Krakatau (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): After a few weeks of mostly calm, activity of the volcano has again picked up a bit at the volcano.
Several small explosions occurred again from the active crater, which is now building a small cone in what is left of the crater lagoon.
Steam and ash plumes from the presumably phreatic or phreatomagmatic activity of the crater rose up to several hundred meters height.

Semeru (East Java, Indonesia): (6 Feb) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: VA REPORTED TO FL140 AT 06/2209Z OBS VA DTG:06/2320Z

Dukono (Halmahera): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 .
The full report is as follows: CONTINUOUS VA EMISSIONS TO FL070, LAST OBS 07/0910Z EXT W/SW to 7000 ft (2100 m)

Mauna Loa (Big Island, Hawai'i): (6 Feb) 134 small magnitude earthquakes were recorded by HVO beneath the upper elevations of the volcano over the past week; the strongest was a magnitude-2.4 earthquake on February 3. Most earthquakes occurred at shallow depths of less than 5 km (~3 miles) beneath the volcano's surface.

The summit of Kilauea continues to inflate suggesting continued magma supply to the volcano's shallow storage system.

“Gas concentrations at the Sulphur Cone monitoring site on the Southwest Rift Zone remain stable. Fumarole temperatures as measured at both Sulphur Cone and the summit have not changed significantly.”

Kilauea (Hawai'i): (6 Feb) Over the past month, rates of seismicity were variable but within long term vales. Sulfur dioxide emission rates are low at the summit and are below detection limits at Puʻu ʻŌʻō and the lower East Rift Zone. The pond at the bottom of Halema'uma'u, which began forming on July 25, 2019, continues to slowly expand and deepen. The pond has grown 95 meters by 194 meters (310 feet by 640 feet) and 25 meters (82 feet) deep. The pond has deepened by 2 meters (around 7 feet) over the month of January 2020.
8 deflation-inflation (DI) events occurred beneath the summit, which according to HVO, is slightly less than the prior month. Since early March 2019, GPS stations and tiltmeters at the Kilauea summit have recorded deformation consistent with slow magma accumulation within the shallow portion of the Kilauea summit magma system (1-2 km or approximately 1 mile below ground level). During January, deformation rates at Kilauea summit appeared to have decreased somewhat. Gas measurements show continuing low levels of sulfur dioxide, consistent with no significant shallowing of magma.

Shishaldin (Aleutian Islands, Alaska): (7 Feb) The Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) reported that seismicity at the volcano has decreased over the past week. In addition, AVO recorded decreased surface temperatures in the summit crater identified in satellite data.
Eruptive activity continues to be pause due to a decreasing activity.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): (7 Feb) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Washington (VAAC) issued the following report: VA EM HAS DISP

Fuego (Guatemala): Mild explosive activity continues from the volcano. The Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington reported intermittent emissions of volcanic ash plumes.
The full report is as follows: sporadic emissions of volcanic ash

Nevado del Ruiz (Colombia): (7 Feb) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Washington (VAAC) issued the following report: VA EM HAS DISP

Sangay (Ecuador): Mild explosive activity continues from the volcano. The Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington reported intermittent emissions of volcanic ash plumes.
The full report is as follows: sporadic emissions of volcanic ash

Reventador (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 16000 ft (4900 m) altitude or flight level 160 .
The full report is as follows: INTMT VA CLDS CONTG. to 16000 ft (4900 m)

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 26000 ft (7900 m) altitude or flight level 260 .
The full report is as follows: INTERMITTENT EMISSION to 26000 ft (7900 m)

Nevados de Chillán (Central Chile): SERNAGEOMIN recorded during 28 January-4 February white gas plumes from the summit crater that reached 13,490 ft (4,112 m) altitude and drifted E, ESE and SE.
On 28 and 29 January recorded minor explosions that ejected incandescent material. Incandescence continues to be observed at night.
