Stromboli (Eolian Islands, Italy): The activity of the volcano has increased during the past days and is classified as "high", with very frequent and often strong strombolian explosions from several vents.
Data analysis shows that some explosions are accompanied by strong acoustic pressure waves (up to 4 bar) and send lava bombs flying with initial exit speed of 47 m/s. Seismic activity includes so-called long period events reflecting internal magma movements.

Aso (central Kyushu, Japan): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: ACTIVITY CONT. VA AT 20200221/1800Z FL050 EXTD N OBS VA DTG:21/1750Z

Dukono (Halmahera): (21 Feb) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 and is moving at 15 kts in SW direction.
The full report is as follows: CONTINUOUS VA EMISSION TO FL070 OBS EXT SW AT 21/0040Z to 7000 ft (2100 m)

Mauna Loa (Big Island, Hawai'i): HVO recorded 44 small-magnitude earthquakes beneath Mauna Loa volcano's upper elevations. The strongest was a magnitude-2.2 on the 16th of February, at approximately 7 kilometers (around 4 miles) below the surface. This was deeper than most of the earthquakes which occurred at depths of less than 5 kilometers (around 3 miles) beneath the surface of the volcano. The volcano continues to inflate, due to magma being supplied to the volcano’s shallow storage region. Gas concentrations and fumarole temperatures remain stable.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Washington (VAAC) issued the following report: VA SEEN ON WEB CAM AND VOLCAT ALERT.

Fuego (Guatemala): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 15000 ft (4600 m) altitude or flight level 150 .
