Klyuchevskoy (Kamchatka): KVERT recorded a moderate explosions at the volcano that generated an ash plumes which reached approx. 16,400 ft-23,000 ft (5,000 m-7,000 m) altitude and drifted W direction. Strombolian activity continues from the summit crater. According to videodata, a strong gas-steam activity of the volcano is observing all day.
Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircrafts.

Aso (central Kyushu, Japan): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: ACTIVITY CONT. VA AT 20200303/1200Z FL060 EXTD N OBS VA DTG:03/1150Z

Kuchinoerabu-jima (Ryukyu Islands): The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) recorded strong white-steam plumes, which reached approx. 4,4542 ft (1,357 m) altitude.
Additionaly recorded 220 volcano-tectonic earthquakes due to an increased level of seismicity.

Merapi (Central Java, Indonesia): The Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG) recored that a spectacular explosion occurred on 3 March at 05:22 local time. An explosion at the Merapi generated a dense dark ash plume, which rose approx. 20,000 ft (6,000 m) above the summit and drifted NE.
Ashfall was reported in several areas downwind including Musuk (10 km N), Cepogo Boyolali (10 km N), Mriyan (3 km) and Boyolali (3 km).

Yasur (Tanna Island, Vanuatu): (2 Mar) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Wellington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 5000 ft (1500 m) altitude or flight level 050 and is moving at 5 kts in NW direction.

Ruapehu (North Island): (3 Mar) GeoNet volcanologists have collected water samples from Crater Lake and measured volcanic gases in the plume last week. Seismic data have been analysed in detail.
The amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) and sulphur gases (SO2 and H2S) have increased since the last measurements on 7th February 2020. Water samples are being analysed this week, with chemistry results expected by next week.

Reventador (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 15000 ft (4600 m) altitude or flight level 150 .

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 25000 ft (7600 m) altitude or flight level 250 and is moving at 15 kts in NW direction.
