Reykjanes (Reykjanes peninsula (SW Iceland)): (4 Mar) The Icelandic Met Office (IMO) recorded an earthquake with magnitude M 3.2 at 16:17 local time near Kleifarvatn yesterday. Around 30 smaller earthquakes have been measured in there since 1 March. An earthquake of this magnitude (>M3.0) last occurred in August 2019. Earthquakes are common in the area.
The ongoing seismic swarm is decreasing since 15 February. About 750 earthquakes have been detected in the area since then.

Aso (central Kyushu, Japan): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: ACTIVITY CONT. VA AT 20200304/1200Z FL060 EXTD E OBS VA DTG:04/1150Z

Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) recorded at the Minamidake summit crater 2 explosions that rose approx. 3,280 ft-4,265 ft (1,000 m-1,300 m) above the summit.
The seismic station records 37 volcanic earthquakes and 3 tremors associated with the eruptions during the period 28 Feb-2 Mar 2020. Incandescence continues to be observed from the crater.

Semeru (East Java, Indonesia): (3 Mar) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: VA REPORTED TO FL130 AT 03/2312Z OBS VA DTG:03/2330Z

Kerinci (Sumatra): (4 Mar) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 14000 ft (4300 m) altitude or flight level 140 .

Pavlof (Alaska Peninsula, USA): (4 Mar) The Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) reported that seismic activity has decreased at the volcano over the past several weeks. No eruptive activity or emissions from the summit have been observed since minor steam emissions in late February.
Aviation Color Code and Alert Level has decreased to GREEN/NORMAL.
