Klyuchevskoy (Kamchatka): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: VA IS NOT IDENTIFIABLE IN SATELLITE IMAGERY.

Shiveluch (Kamchatka): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: VA IS NOT IDENTIFIABLE IN SATELLITE IMAGERY.

Aso (central Kyushu, Japan): (9 Mar) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: ACTIVITY CONT. VA AT 20200309/0600Z FL060 EXTD NW OBS VA DTG:09/0550Z

Mayon (Luzon Island, Philippines): PHIVOLCS reported that the seismic station records 10 volcano-tectonic earthquakes during the last 24 hours.
Additionally recorded emissions of gas and steam plumes. The plumes were dispersed towards the E, NE, W and NW direction.

Dukono (Halmahera): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 6000 ft (1800 m) altitude or flight level 060 and is moving at 5 kts in SE direction.
The full report is as follows: CONTINUOUS VA EMISSION TO FL060 OBS VA DTG:09/0900Z to 6000 ft (1800 m)

Great Sitkin (United States, Aleutian Islands): (9 Mar) The Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) recorded on 6 March at 06:31 local time relatively large earthquake with magnitude M 3.5. It was located approx. 1 km east-southeast of the summit at shallow depths (not more than 2 km below sea level). Since the quake, seismic activity has returned to lower levels, and no eruptive activity has been detected in infrasound or satellite data today. Although this earthquake represents a significant increase in the seismic activity at the volcano, it does not mean that an eruption is imminent. AVO is closely monitoring the volcano for other signs of unrest that may indicate increased activity or likelihood of an eruption.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 20000 ft (6100 m) altitude or flight level 200 .
The full report is as follows: REMNANT VA TO FL250 AND CONS VA AT FL200 to 20000 ft (6100 m)

Santiaguito (Guatemala): INSIVUMEH recorded a white fumarole in Caliente dome that rose 10,500 ft (3,200 m) above the summit.
The seismic station detected weak explosions that generated a dark ash plume which reached approx. 10,800 ft (3,300 m) above the summit and drifted W.

Piton de la Fournaise (La Réunion): The Piton de la Fournaise Volcanological Observatory have released their monthly report for the month of February 2020.
During the month, there were 249 shallow volcano-tectonic earthquakes (0 – 2 km depth) below the summit craters, 11 deep earthquakes (>2 km depth) and 563 rockfalls (inside the Cratère Dolomieu or along the cliff of the Enclos Fouqué caldera and the Rivière de l’Est rampart). Around 4 earthquakes per day were occurring from February 1-9. Out of the 249 shallow volcano-tectonic earthquakes, 208 occurred on the morning of February 10 prior to the February 10-16 eruption. This “seismic crisis” lasted for around 30 minutes. After the eruption, the summit volcano-tectonic activity decreased with only 2 shallow earthquakes recorded between February 17-29. During this period however, 8 deep earthquakes were recorded beneath Piton de Crac, and on the edge of the deformation field which OVPF-IGPG claim is linked to magma injection that fed the February 10-16 eruption.
