Reykjanes (Reykjanes peninsula (SW Iceland)): The Icelandic Met Office (IMO) recorded an earthquake with magnitude M 5.2 occurred about 5 km NE of Grindavík. Multiple aftershocks have been detected. The earthquake is the largest earthquake detected on the Reykjanes peninsula since October 2013 when an earthquake of magnitude M 5.2 occurred close to Reykjanestá. The earthquake was felt in large areas of SW-Iceland.
Additionally recorded two earthquakes at 18:40 local time with magnitude M 3.4 and at 18:42 local time with magnitude M 3.3 about 3km ENE of Grindavík.

Aso (central Kyushu, Japan): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: ACTIVITY CONT. VA AT 20200313/1200Z FL060 EXTD E OBS VA DTG:13/1150Z

Kadovar (Northeast of New Guinea): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin recorded an explosive activity from the active crater with near-constant ash emissions that reached 5,000 ft (1,500 m) altitude.

Dukono (Halmahera): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 7000 ft (2100 m) altitude or flight level 070 .
The full report is as follows: VA OBS TO FL070 MOV SW AT 13/0840Z OBS VA DTG:13/0900Z to 7000 ft (2100 m)

Mauna Loa (Big Island, Hawai'i): The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (HVO) recorded around 156 small-magnitude earthquakes beneath the volcano's upper elevations over the past week. Most of these earthquakes occurred at shallow depths of less than 5 kilometers (~3 miles) below ground level. The strongest even was a magnitude 2.27 in the morning of March 8. This particular earthquake was located in the radial vents west of the summit caldera within the volcano 0.5 km (0.4 miles) above sea level. Last week's flurry just south on known fault structures south of the northeast rift zone is tapering off.

There is still continued slow summit inflation which HVO report is consistent with magma supply to the volcano's shallow storage system. Gas concentrations and fumarole temperatures remain stable.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 21000 ft (6400 m) altitude or flight level 210 and is moving at 10-15 kts in NW direction.
The full report is as follows: ONGOING VA EMS. to 21000 ft (6400 m)

Sangay (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 20000 ft (6100 m) altitude or flight level 200 .
