Introduction
Fueguino is a group of andesitic, columnar-jointed lava domes and pyroclastic cones reaching to 150 m height. The volcanoes are located on a broad peninsula forming the SE end of Isla Cook. One of the cones, south of Bahía del Volcán, contains a 150-m-wide crater with a small lake. The lava domes and pyroclastic cones were possibly emplaced along N-S-trending faults. They are not eroded by glaciers as the basement granite rocks.
