Tolguaca volcano (also spelled Tolhuaca volcano) in Central Chile is a young basaltic-andesitic stratovolcano immediatelz NW of Lonquimay volcano. Only fumarolic activity has been known in historic times, but it has erupted frequently during the past 10,000 years. The volcano contains 2 main craters 2 km apart.
Reports of eruptions in 1876 and on 7 January 1933 have not been confirmed.
