Background
The Nulla volcanic province consists of 46 vents and associated lava flows covering an area of 7500 km2. The youngest volcano, Toomba, is only 13,000 years old, and produced a massive 120 km long lava flow. Three other lava flows exceed 100 km length (Stephenson and Griffin 1976).---
